Kate Tayco
Editor in Chief
Kate Paulyne Tayco is the current Editor-in-Chief of News Unlocked. She has been a journalist for more than 10 years. She writes about social issues and marketing content. She used to be the Associate Editor of Uphill Press, an independent online news publication that covered happenings in Cordillera. She was also the former News Editor and now the Finance Manager of UP Baguio Outcrop. Kate is also a freelance writer.

Alyssa Castañares
Managing Editor
Alyssa Castañares is News Unlocked's Managing Editor. She was the sports editor and writer of Highland 360, an online news publication that operated from February to March 2020.
She is currently a third year student at the University of the Philippines Baguio pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Major in Journalism, Minor in Broadcast Communication).

Janica Bayangos
Finance and Marketing Manager
Janica Shaina Bayangos serves as the Finance and Marketing Manager of News Unlocked. She started her journalism journey as a news writer representative of her elementary and high school in writing competitions. She now majors in journalism at the University of the Philippines Baguio. She mostly writes about current events, fashion, and lifestyle.

Zoe Ramores
Layout and Web Manager
Zoe Ramores is News Unlocked’s layout and web manager, a Filipino student journalist, and a women human rights activist who writes about pressing societal issues that aim to expose and oppose acts of injustice.
She was also a writer at UP Baguio Outcrop in 2015, at Sunstar Baguio in 2018, and at the Philippine Information Agency in 2019. She currently writes statements and articles for several youth organizations. In her free time, she takes care of her fourteen dogs.

Joemariqueen Del Rosario
News Editor
Joemariequeen Del Rosario serves as the news editor of News Unlocked. She usually writes about current social issues, especially issues that concern human rights and human lives. Joemariequeen started out her journalism career by being a campus photojournalist during her high school years. She then found her passion in the field and pursued to be a writer and a photographer for the people. She is currently majoring in journalism through the BA Communication program at the University of the Philippines Baguio. At present, she also serves as UP Baguio Outcrop’s Associate Editor - Internals.

Valerie Joyce Nuval works as the feature editor of News Unlocked. She served as a news writer for Highland360, a student publication that covered news and happenings in Baguio City from February to March 2020. She is a 3rd Year BA Communication (Major in Journalism, Minor in Speech-Communication) student at the University of the Philippines Baguio.
